The U.S. Virgin Islands Women’s U-17 team had to settle for a tie against Antigua and Barbuda in their opening game of the CFU Women’s U-17 Qualifying Tournament Wednesday at Paul E. Joseph Stadium. The tournament is a qualifier for the U-17 Women’s World Cup, scheduled for 2014 in Costa Rica.

Both teams failed to break the deadlock as they cancelled out each other in a highly competitive match.
