Bradenton, Florida – The Antigua and Barbuda national football team has taken its World Cup Russia 2018 preparation to the United States for a 10 camp.
The Bennaboys who recently won 3 friendly matches in the month of march have changed the fields and white sandy beaches of Antigua to the IMG Academy, a high performance center in Bradenton Florida. The team will be undergo a tough training regime during their time in Florida while also playing friendly matches.
Attending the camp are under 23 players Davrick lockhart of Fort Road F.C, Jamoy Stevens, Jamarlie Stevens, Javorn Stevens, Eugene Kirwan and Tomarley “Ziggy” Thomas of Greenbay Hoppers F.C. They are joined by Parham F.C contingent Molvin James, Akeem “Leppy” Thomas and Lawson Robinson.
Players on trial from the UK are Kyjuon Marsh-Brown of Brentford F.C, Reece Beckles of Woking F.C and Remish Richards from Interwood F.C Academy.
Technical Director Piotr Nowak and head coach Rolston “Debu” Williams aim to not only prepare the players for World Cup and under 23 qualifiers but also build team chemistry.
