Inaugural CONCACAF Grassroots Coaching Course

St. John’s, Antigua – The Antigua and Barbuda Football Association would like to invite all media personnel to the inaugural CONCACAF Grassroots Coaching Course opening ceremony, at the Antigua Recreation Ground (ARG) on December 5th, 2013 at 8:30 AM . Attending this course will be coaches from the already fast growing ABFA Grassroots program along with new applicants.

The main goal of this CONCACAF initiative is to empower the region through individual member development. The course will provide the Grassroots coaches with specialized training for boys and girls from the ages 6 – 12 years old.

The participants attending the course will be taken through some of the main aims of the of Grassroots initiative, while also going through theoretical and practical training. The CONCACAF instructors for the course will be Development Officers Mr.Lenny Lake from St. Kitts and Nevis, instructor Jose Supercerna and CONCACAF Development Coordinator Mr. Jonathon Martinez from the United States.

The Antigua and Barbuda Football Association is very excited about this initiative from CONCACAF as the local Grassroots program has already gain excellent momentum so far in 9 communities island wide. The Course will run from Thursday December, 5th – 7th from 8:30 am – 1:00 PM.
