Defending Premier Division football champions Parham FC recorded their second draw in three days on Saturday.

Following a goalless stalemate against Ottos Rangers on Wednesday, Parham played to a 1-all draw with Empire on Saturday afternoon.

The Rolston “Debu” Williams-led side stand fifth in the standings on 18 points with six games to go, double-digit points behind leaders Greenbay Hoppers.

Coming into the season confident of defending their title, a shockingly slow start was quickly overcome by wins led by stunning goal-scoring displays from captain Tevaughn “Peter Redz” Harriette.

Since then, it’s been up-and-down for Parham, and their record shows as much (5 wins, 3 draws, 4 losses).

Though Parham’s not mathematically out of it yet; with six games to go, the title seems now firmly Hoppers’ to lose.

In Saturday’s other match-up, SAP FC beat last-place Five Islands 4 – 2.
