St. John’s, Antigua – Excitement will be in the air once again, as national team football will be on display for fans in Antigua and Barbuda. This time around, the ladies will displaying their skills, as the anticipated draw for the Caribbean Football Union’s (CFU) Women’s Caribbean Cup 2014 was made on the 8th of April.
The “Benna Girls” will contest Group 1 as host along with Aruba, St. Vincent & The Grenadines and also the United States Virgin Islands (USVI). The Group is expected to kick-0ff from the 21st May 2014 with the final matches ending on the 28th May 2014 at the Antigua Recreation Grounds.
In the first phase of qualifying, the group winners will automatically advance along with the best two 2nd placed teams in the opening round.
Following this announcement the ABFA will set a date for a press conference.
