The Benna Boys completed a hattrick of victories on Sunday when they defeated the British Virgin Islands 1-0 at the Antigua Recreation Grounds (ARG).
The match was the final of three international friendly matches held here over the last three weeks in which they managed only four goals in their three matches.
“You saw yesterday (Sunday) as well and the previous games that we (created) a lot of chances and we need to be clinical. When we are in front of the goal we need to cool down and not be so heated. We have to go in and keep cool and then show the killer instinct,” Nowak said.
“It is understood that the season is over for a good couple of weeks now but we have enough experience in front of the goal to score more goals,” he added.
Mervin Hazelwood scored the team’s lone goal in the opening minutes of Sunday’s encounter. Despite creating ample other opportunities, the home team failed to capitalise.
The team will be looking towards sharpening its skills at a nine-day camp at the IMG Academy in the Miami starting Today (March 24).
