The Wings Junior girl’s footballers came up against Cool & Smooth Hoppers Princesses, on Sunday, April 29, at the Radio Range Football Field. Wings had succumbed to Hoppers 6-1 in the ABFA Junior Knock-Out Final. In the first match in the ABFA Junior League on Sunday, although with a bit more striking power in CPTSA Wings Khadijah Morris who found the net once in her several chances, the Wings Mid-field and Defense were weak in stopping the onslaught of the Hoppers girls. The first half ended 4-1 in favor of Hoppers and by the end of play, Hoppers added another 4, for the 8-1 finish. Kadijah Proctor and Kenisha Martin Scored a hat – trick each, Kanijah Warner and Josie Baker each scored a goal for Hoppers Princesses.

Lady SAP had the better of Jennings Challengers 2-Nil, in the Cool and Smooth ABFA Women’s Senior Division, on Sunday, at Radio Range. The 2 goals came from young striker Annalisa Tonge.

In the third match-up of the night, Madrisa Otto, Ishelle Nash, Whitney Pelle and Safia Michael, fired one shot each into the back of Police net, to give Bendals Eagles a 4-0 victory over Police FC who is yet to win a game.

The ABFA Women’s League continues on Saturday, May 5th , when Young Warriors will come up against All Saints Lady Attackers @ 4 P M in the first Junior Division Game and the final encounter will showcase the Hoppers Princesses vs. Clare Hallities @ 6:30 at the Radio Range Playing Field.

Football Action continues at the Radio Range Playing Field on Sunday May 6th the first encounter will be a Grays Farm Darby Empire Star Girls will come up against Lady Hoppers @ 5:00 PM and the feature game of the night will showcase Lady Sap vs. Lady 5PS @ 7:00 PM.
