St. Johns, Antigua – The historic CFU/MLS Caribbean combine finally came to an end after 3 days of games and intense training by top Major League Soccer (MLS) coaches. Of the 24 players selected for the Caribbean Combine only two were players were chosen to represent their respective assertions and the Caribbean at the full MLS Combine in Florida this week.

The chosen applicants were Stefano Rodney Rijssel from Suriname and also Quinton Christina from Curacao. Both players will go through a weeklong camp where they will be scouted by coaches from varies teams in Major League Soccer.

Major League Soccer Coach and former St. Vincent and Grenadines International Ezra Hendrickson, spoke of the quality players from the Caribbean while also stating the difficulties in picking from the group:
