St. John’s, Antigua – The Antigua and Barbuda Football Association along with support from FIFA has once again brought another member association course to its shores. After a busy year of building its grassroots program, the ABFA has once again shift its attention to building the women’s side of the game with the FIFA Female Referee entry level course.
The member association course attracted over 20 female participants from various clubs around the island. The course opening was held on Monday November 4th with President Audwin “Jarmas” Walsh of Antigua’s Referee Association, ABFA President Everton Gonsalves, CFU President Gordon Derrick and CFU referee instructor Denmore Roberts.
The Course wrapped up on Friday at the Antigua Recreation Ground where the ladies displayed their certificates to fans and the media.
