ST. JOHN’S, Antigua (March 23, 2016) – The Bennaboys opened their Scotiabank CFU Caribbean Cup Campaign, by defeating Aruba 2 – 1 at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on Wednesday night.

Joshua Parker opened the scoring in the 4th minute of play after tapping in a corner kick from close range. The Benna Boys then doubled their lead in the 23rd minute with a goal from Adriel George from a late run into t he box making it 2 – 0 to the host.

Aruba would find the score sheet in the 28th minute with a strike from Fredrick Gomez. In the end, Antigua and Barbuda would hold out for a 2-1 victory over Aruba in the Group 1 match-up.
